Who Am I?

Susan Bogart
AFC®

I am Susan Bogart. I have spent 30 years or so helping law students to find their way financially through the legal education journey. I have worked as a financial aid administrator at University of Illinois—Chicago Law School (back in the old days when it was The John Marshall Law School) and at Penn State Dickinson Law. And while the scholarships, grants and student loans were a big part of the job, my favorite part was to help students to learn about money in general. Financial literacy education is not something that everyone has access to. And the financial challenges that face law students are unique. My dream is to continue to make a difference for this population. My years of learning from my own mistakes and from the lessons of others uniquely position me to provide education to law students who don’t even realize that they need this help.
